Summer is coming to an end, but the fun doesn’t have to. Make sure you soak up the last days of summer outside with these great activities and enjoy the community! Here is my end of summer bucket list:
Picnic in the Park - specifically in San Dimas Canyon park. This park is large and beautiful with hiking trails, an equestrian center and great playgrounds. There is so much to do and see you and the family will have a blast all afternoon!
Spend the Day at Raging Waters - with the end of season around the corner, you can get discounted tickets from now until the rest of the season as well as get your season passes for next year at a well discounted price! The slides, splash pads and lounge areas are great and bound to make a perfect day for everyone!
Go for a Walk - at Victoria Gardens! There are so many back-to-school and fall sales going on now. the weather is perfect and the shopping is always fun! You’ll have a blast, and don’t forget to get a crepe from Crepes de Paris
Go Camping - my favorite local spot is Dogwood located just outside of Lake Arrowhead. It’s far enough away to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, and in reality, you are a quick 10 minute drive into the village to enjoy the great restaurants and entertainment.
Have Lunch Outdoors - my two favorite outdoor spots are Walter’s in the Claremont Village and Elvira’s off Indian Hill and Foothill. They both have a fantastic outdoor atmosphere and amazing food. The best part is their proximity to the village and all of the delicious bakeries!
Go for a Hike - with this cooling trend, head up to Mt. Baldy, enjoy the mountain air and reward yourself with a picnic at the campground or stop by the Mt Baldy Lodge for great food and a game of pool!
